since you said hands i will say pacquiao

but handspeed is different from all around speed, and reflexes
if that were the case i'd give it to floyd

floyd is probably the fastest...a tie between gamboa and pac second...khan would be third...chad is quick...but i don't think he comes close to the speed of the smaller guys...i think that zab judah should be on there too...i really think he's the fastest active boxer around...

The fact that he maintains his speed still late has to count for something? And above all, he uses it to out do his opponents size advantages.
yeah, Im not going to hate. Pac is a fast ass dude. Really, there is nothing better to me then seeing a speed matchup. Thats why I cant wait for Floyd-Mosley and the winner against Pac. Clottey's hands are a little faster than people give him credit for so Pac better watch out. Then again, Cotto was beating Clottey to the punch alot so maybe Clottey better watch out, lol

Well obviously the smaller guys will be the fastest, Gamboa IMO is the fastest out of that group, against Mtagwa he was unbelievably fast, there was just a blur and then you saw Mtagwa reeling around, another blur and he's down, insane.

Well not every lighter weight fighter has smaller arms which enable them to be fast. There are TONS of fighters with lanky arms and are pretty damn slow even though they are light weight. But if your talking about fighters with shorter arms can generally throw quicker, then yes that's generally true. But a lanky fighter can still shoot out a punch VERY fast, he just can't pull it back and maintain the rate like a shorter arm fighter could. Corrales and a fighter like Pavlik come to mind. Occasionally firing off a blinding straight, but that's 1 punch.

More like opinion because we have no way to really gauge it. I think for pure speed it's Gamboa or khan, pac, pbf, chad. Pac's combos, i think is better than the rest because there is an intent to knock you down with every punch not just pitty pat or a flurry to dissuade an opponent going in.

Pac does NOT have faster hands than Gamboa or Dawson.

Pac throws fast combos, but his handspeed is a level below Gamboa, Khan, or Dawson.

I would even say Judah and Mayweather are slightly faster. With Pac it's about his combos.

Amir Khan hast the fastest hands. But he lacks the accuracy of Floyd and the power of Manny though.
