im a huge pacquiao fan but roach makes him look so bad

what does he mean by "weight doesnt matter"

why make cotto come in at 145 then?

still cotto would have lost but that statement is contradictory

Considering Floyd, Mosley and Berto wasn't available at the time Clottey was signed....who would you have rather seen Pac fight that you think can beat him? Only guy I can think of is Bradley but I think his Showtime contract ruins him getting any of these megafights.

I for one will not be purchasing the March 13th bout, no way I support a cheater in Margarito, or a lying money grubbing promoter like Arum. Jose Luis Castillo v Alfredo Gomez? George Foreman III? John Duddy? This fight card should be on HBO After Dark.
I have been saying the same thing. THis Fight should not be a PPV fight. What a Joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weight doesn't matter after you've proven that you can hang. Cotto was the first true WW fight so I don't see a problem with asking him to come down 1 lb. He obviously wasn't affected by the weight, he lost that fight in the camp/corner.

i dont think he meant weight doesnt matter like that, clearly it does matter in terms of rehydration and energy, but in my opinion that weight doesnt matter as much in this case as it would for cotto because the energy and work rate

If it didn't matter why make the guy come down on a contracted weight of 145lb and a million pound penalty for each pound. Cotto agreed for the money, but to say it didn't affected him unless you know him personally and he told you it is not confirmed

Let's assume equal punching ability (as in knowing how to properly deliver a punch) who is most likely to punch harder and subsequently knock an oppoentn out, the lightweight or the heavyweight?

My point is that the increase in weight greatly attributes to the ability to knock people out. As you get heavier and continue to punch well, your punches could increase in power accordingly.

I agree; I'm a PBF fan who likes to watch Pac fight also...with all the bs coming out when the fight wit PBF didnt get sign..Roach made Pac look so bad, in every interveiw he gave he contradicted himself...he is a great trainer and great hypin a fight..but someone has to tell him that he makes his guy look bad more than anyone does.

I don't know him but he's said on MULTIPLE interviews that the weight didn't affect him. He said he felt great and was in the best shape he's bee in for a long time. So yea, I'll take HIS word over yours.
