There is no one else Bute can fight and he just wants to stay busy. I don't care if Bute fights both guys in one night, he beats them both. Yes Miranda has a big punch but he telegraphs that punch and Bute knows when its coming. The real fight is Bute vs Pavlik but Arum won't let him fight him.

Styles make fights and to tell you the truth at least El Pantera bring the one punch power to the table. Brinkley is a joke seriously a joke. He has no power and has not fought a live body in forever. The last fight this past weekend was against a 5'7" SMW with arms like a JWW. They kept saying that the kid from Brownsville never run never will had power to KO but he was only throwing a left hook which Brinkley kept leaning forward anf having it pass behind his head. Bute by KO over Brinkley and Miranda to me right now is the tougher fight but Bute will win that be easy UD.

The "serious joke" you refer to puts his life on the line everytime he laces 'em up.
Jesse is a breath of fresh leather. He actually enjoys the craft. His limitations do not make him laughable. It's a dishonor to all athletes who engage the sweet science to call even one a joke.
I don't like Floyd for many reasons. He's too defensive and in being such can be offensive to watch, especially when he practices his craft against lesser talents at 50 bucks a pop. But he is hardly a joke. I am comparing the elite to the journeyman because without the club fighter there would be no such thing as professional boxing.

Who has Brinkley beaten to deserve a shot? Plus look who he has lost to! Four club fighters. Brinkley needs to beat someone, someday, of half decent quality to get a title shot. Sure, he is on a winning streak, beating guys I have never heard of....

And what has Miranda done ?
Brutally KOed by Abraham and Pavlik, outclassed by Ward.
Miranda has already had a lot of opportunities and failled.
Brinley, at least is on a winning streak and just won an "eliminator". Give Brinkley his chance.

Brinkley did win an eliminator to earn the #2 spot.I'll take Miranda or Brinkley to fight but e.stiglitz is a joke & will fight garbage...Miranda should have fought him but pulled out.stiglitz would get ktfo by bute.I'd like to see him fight pascal.

Bute vs Brinkley? **** off, Lucian isnt going to stand for that ****, it would be a 2nd round KO, Brinkley would be demolished by Andrade even. The Miranda fight makes more sense to hold Bute over a while, he'll need another fight too beforte the Super 6 is over and he can fight the winner.
