I think Cotto looked fine at the weight but he should not have been forced to defend his title under147. Cotto said he was fine with a nontitle catchweight or a regular defence at 147. He was bullied into the title fight at 145. That was my issue.

It was quite obvious that Cotto would rather have been able to come in at 147. If that didn't matter then there would have never been a catchweight in the first place. 2 pound is after all almost 30% of 7 pounds, which is how much Cotto had to drop in weight from the maximum.

i dont think it matters...people swear mosley is this great great fighter still because he beat a drained, mentally ****ed antonio margarito forgeting that a few months back he went 12 rounds with the human punching bag ricardo mayorga...2 fighters that come straight foward with no head movement, little speed, and not defense.....Mosley is in for a big suprise when he fights Floyd....to old to react to the speed of floyd.....

You think Floyd was counting on fighting Mosley before Pacquiao or do you think he's following the circumstances?

"yea i have really no chance to win this fight i just want the money. ive been off for 1 year & six months & im 4 months shy of my 39th birthday"

That will really help the ppv sales & the legitimacy of the fight.

But you are the SAME guy that said that he needs to fight legitimate welterweights, now he is fighting the champ in the division and now shane is papa smurf's age.
