hahahahaha. Tunney, you are proving yourself to be anything but a boxing fan. True fans give credit where credit is due.

this was clearly not the same mosley of old (no pun intended). mosley was pretty much done after being gassed by the 3rd round. still can't get over that...

The second round wasn't as bad, but the referee should have stopped Floyd from repeatedly holding Shane's arm, Floyd might have been stopped.

The rest of the fight was VERY boring. I scored it 118-110 for Floyd. The age difference was evident after round 2, but Floyd couldn't stop the obviously faded Mosley.

Why are people saying ''Age was apparent''? If you look at the majority of Floyd's opponents they start strong, then their effectiveness diminishes. It's because he adapts.

You don't go from buckling someone's legs in round two looking strong, to having nothing left in round 3. Floyd simply neutralised him.
          ________--

On the thread topic, Floyd wanted to fight Mosley way back, Mosley had a tooth ache and wanted to go on a vacation.

Had Floyd turned it up and taken out the faded Shane, I would have mada a positive comment about it.

But the truth is, Floyd didn't win impressively, he just cruised to another boring decision.

              what. the. ****. happened.

shane looked tired as early as the 4th and wasn't moving around at all, flat footed all night.

i'm going to get railed for saying this but shane lost this fight more than mayweather won it.

i'm at a loss for words. I didn't think shane was going to win but he didn't even look competitive, he looked winded the latter half of the fight. damn, ****, hell.

                Shane got old.

And the past 14 months of inactivity didn't help, especially at his age.

You are correct, Shane lost the fight more than Floyd won it.

Unless you just started watching boxing, you would know that Floyd tried to secure a fight with Shane after the Baldomir in 2006 fight and before the De La Hoya fight. Shane turned it down. Shane also turned the fight down in 1999!.

I am going to assume you are a new fan of boxing. Otherwise, I would have to assume that you are a hater who chooses to see only what he wants to see.

tis was the same Mosley that beat Margarito. He simply fought a superior fighter.

Shane called Floyd out on ESPN2 in June 2007 after Floyd-DLH.

But because Shane had dominated Collazo in his previous fight, Floyd went for the smaller, less talented Ricky Hatton instead, who had struggled against Collazo.

                      Floyd ducked Shane.
