Why did Floyd wait until Shane was nearly 40 to fight him?

    Exactly...

Floyd ducked prime Pacquaio and fights old Mosley.

Floyd should have fought a better version of Shane.

A few weeks after the DLH-Floyd fight, Shane called Floyds out on ESPN where he was a guest at the time. But Floyd ducked him, and went after the smaller Ricky Hatton instead.

          Stop the hate.

Shane could of fought Floyd a long time ago but he ducked Floyd from 99 all the way to 2006.. he only wanted to start fighting floyd after that because he realized floyd is the premier money maker in the sport..

Shane has fought alot of sorry opposition his whole career and u wanna give him props for fighting his mandatory in vernon forrest? he had to fight him.. u wanna give him props for losing to winky, who he had to fight because he had the other belts in that division?.. Mosley a guy who skipped Kosta, hell the entire 140 division.. who of relevance did he fight at 135 besides holiday? the same guy that fought a faded mayorga? or a faded vargas twice? GTFOH

Tunney, Floyd called out Mosley after defeating Gatti and then again after defeating Baldomir. Mosley didnt want it then. Here is the reality. You said Floyd would never fight Mosley, and he did. Then he dominated him. And for whatever reason, you still feel the need to discredit Floyd.

How about giving him credit for a great performance. That is what a true boxing fan would do.

              It wasn't a great performance.

A great boxer would have finished off the slower opponent, instead of boring the fans with round after round smirking and showing off how he was quicker than an old man.

Floyd was content to win another BORING decision.

I dont't know what is going on but I can't create a new thread. I'm going out now so I'll catch up tomorrow, but I gotta say 6 things:

                  1) Floyd beat that ass on an excellent Mosley
                  2) FLoyd's mot impressive win since Corrales.
                  3) Floyd is the man at WW officially.
                  4) FLoyd totally shut him down and took his heart and Mosley WAS boxing very well until Floyd hit him with that combo in the 3rd.
                  5) Floyd could have taken him out anything after the 8th, I was just praying it wasn't in the 10th cuz that's what BUrner predicted.
                  6) I always said Floyd has a chin and was durable but he has major heart.

PS) Floyd's only fault- not enough killer instinct, stop carrying your opponent

OUCH, I'm gonna get much more wasted tonite.

Why did Shane ask for a trillion dollars in 1999? Why did Shane decline a Nov 2006 showdown with Floyd?

The fight would have been best in 1999. Both had better legs, speed and power.
