This is going to be a tough fight for both of them. But I'm slightly favoring Khan to win this because of his speed, size and hunger. Very impressive for a 23-year old if he can pull this out.

I can easily see him doing exactly what Mayweather did, and Freddie Roach knows this. I mean look at what happened last time he got an old opponent who gave Pacquiao trouble. He stopped him in 6 rounds (Barrera).

In his prime, Marquez would destroy Khan though.
How is Khan going to do exactly what mayweather did against Marquez? Khan is nowhere near the talent of Mayweather.... Khan defense still needs alot of work...Marquez is still the good fighter even at 140, just because of one fight against mayweather people want to say he not the same fighter,, It had nothing to do with marquez being at 140,, it had to do that mayweather being that good...

I think people underestimate Khan. The dudes bad ass. In his prime I think JMM would take him in a good bout, but I would not be a bit surprised to see Khan win this fight.

i could see Marquez putting khan to sleep but what stick out in my mind when considering this match up is how ineffective my man Marquez was at 143 or 144 lb what ever it was when he fought floyd.

I Just wish JMM would have a confidence building fight at 140lbs first. Then I could get a better idea on what to expect.

Khan, IMO has everything going for him speed, hand speed, power, stamina, height, reach, weight, coach, conditioning and strengthening coach, facilities, and possibly even spar mates. Only disadvantage for him is his chin and his lack of experience.

How do underestimate a guy who has been ko'd by a nobody in prescott,,and takes on a couple of feather fisted fighters in kloetnik and salita? and now he's a bad ass?

i really can't see how you could judge marquez off of the mayweather fight...marquez would have looked slow if he and mayweather fought at 130...floyd is that good...that's why he is so far up there...but khan has damn good attributes...i'm just saying that his speed can be neutralized and his chin can be tapped...marquez has a lot in him...he is far from over the hill in my eyes...especially since he was closidered at his peak just a year and some change ago against pacquaio...

Even good fighters have bad nights. Watch the combination hand speed in the barrera fight. For people to say Marquez will "put him on his ass" is bull****. If you believe that's true, then you underestimate him.
