    ridiculous...

First let me say im new to the site, but not new to boxing. A bunch of you sound like May haters just cause you dont like the flashy ****y attitude and dont want to admit that he is the best fight out there because of it. Mosely doesnt stand a chance against Money. Your all prob the same people that said he wouldnt beat Hatton (hahaha), wouldnt beat oscar (just like everyone else who rides oscars overrated your know what), wouldnt beat marquez. Ya'll keep doubting and keep getting more mad by each fight cause it makes you sick to see him win. May wins by unanimous decision.

Lololololol so the guy coming up 2 divisions shouldn't level out the playing field, but the one who has been at that division for 5 years, can come in over the contracted weight against a naturally smaller guy?

I know you like Mayweather and you'll defend anything he does that is clear, but c'mon you know that is a laughable argument.

Agreed, and I didn't mean that as a knock on P Will I was just stating that Mitchell was clearly on his way out when Floyd fought him. however I don't have a problem with a guy fighting a mid level opponent when testing a new weight class. That's smart , happens all the time. Pac fought David Diaz in his LW debut, and although he was a belt holder , he wasn't revered as a top LW. JMM on the other hand fought Casamayor( old but still considered live game)

Sure but here is my point in a short amount of time he's retired ODLH and knocked out Hatton, fine we can dismiss both but it's the natural evolution of boxing, the young take out the old(keep in mind he moved up to fight them), Hatton moved up to fight Mayweather which is why I point to context.

Pac then fights Cotto who although was damaged goods, was still good enough to beat or be competitive with most of the top welterweights, now he is facing Clottey another tough welterweight. Mayweather has been a welterweight since 2005!!! Pac has been there for a year.

Oh don't get me wrong that **** was class-less. although I can't blame him for not weight draining himself, he shouldn't have agreed to a ccontractual weight that he had no intentions of making. I just hate catch weight bouts PERIOD! Besides JMM and his camp did decide to take the $ and fight even though Floyd bucked on the initial contracted weight limit. Don't confuse me with a Mayweather nuthugger. I just state my opinion.

Point well taken, but do you honestly believe that if Floyd beat cotto( @ 147 not a catch weight), people wouldn't have said Cotto looked ****ty against Clottey until he body slammed him and that Cotto was never the same after Margs?

I'm not....just have a lot of guys on here who refuse to look at the factual information presented to them and they get emotional because they love Floyd so much.

For example when Pac demanded the weight penalty of one million per each pound over, Mayweather fans went crazy saying it was excessive but did Mayweather not come in over the contract weight against Marquez? The answer to that is irrefutable and it's yes, so there was precedent for asking for such a penalty. Has Pac ever tested positive for steroids? The factual answer is NO, so where is the precedent for such a request? And by precedent I'm not referring to innuendo or rumors.

Look there are excuses in life for everything and yes Floyd would have received criticism, but why didn't he fight him before he was damaged goods? Floyd has shown a knack for waiting out fighters either by waiting until they are old, or waiting until they show kinks in the armor. He has yet to face any welterweight in their prime, he is only 30/31 right, so he is in his prime still.
