they say he wanted to fight cotto earlier but arum wasn't having it at the time. I don't know that's just what was said. Anyway ,off the subject a bit but nomatter how many flaws PWill shows these guys aren't lining up to fight this guy.Look there are excuses in life for everything and yes Floyd would have received criticism, but why didn't he fight him before he was damaged goods? Floyd has shown a knack for waiting out fighters either by waiting until they are old, or waiting until they show kinks in the armor. He has yet to face any welterweight in their prime, he is only 30/31 right, so he is in his prime still.Comment

Styles make fights, Martinez and Quintana attempted to be aggressive with PWill and it worked for the most part. Floyd doesn't fight like that, he is effectively a counter puncher who sits in the pocket and waits to capitalize on your mistakes, he's not aggressive in the typical sense.Comment

Hahaha, I dont pick on no-one. Just like to have smart boxing convo with different people. Really liking this site, glad I found it. I agree with you that each fight comes down to the styles of both the fighters. I would love to see more people step up to Paul Williams. he is one of my favorute fighters to watch.Comment

I'm still not sold on Valero, you? Lol I'm just bantering with you plus you don't come off as fanatical in one direction or the other. I'm attempting to put together a boxing radio show, if interested PM me and let me know.Comment

I agree but i do woder if mayweather's counter punching would bother my boy P will, because Martinez's did. P Will just dug deep and willed himself to victory like not alot of fighters could have. I have big respect for Paul in that regard and I think his ability to keep coming is part of what makes guys avoid himStyles make fights, Martinez and Quintana attempted to be aggressive with PWill and it worked for the most part.
