You rematch the same guy years later when you are supposedly so much improved as a fighter only to squeek out a 1 point decision because of a flash knockdown. After all of that this same fighter is still calling you out for a third fight, all the while following you up the scales. Remember JMM only called out Mayweather after he realized he was not going to get another shot at Pac. Lastly, people criticize Floyd for fighting JMM, but remember he was coming out of retirement and his longest layoff ever. And he didn't just beat him ,he blew him out.
Pac may have avoided JMM but if they fought now, i bet no one would bet on JMM. and i dont care if floyd was on retirement. he is a gym rat, he never left the gym just the spotlight. JMM was a Jr lightweight. Floyd get no credit for beating JMM.

And you wouldn't get any takers on that bet. Also I don't think Arum would let Margarito anywhere near this version of Sergio Martinez

Haven't we all heard thousands of times that there is no substitute for real fight activity. Gym rat or not he was inactive in the respect that he hadn't fought since knocking Hatton TFO!

You don't know **** about boxing then. No offense or anything but pac has improved drastically as of late. His right hook is way better, he is constantly getting better at throwing punches at all angles, his combos have improved and his foot work is a lot better. Marquez is p4p one of the best fighters in the world and if he is fighting at 135 or below he gives any person on this planet a very tough fight (not at 144 against floyd who weighed 146). If you think he just overpowered hatton and cotto you are clinically ******ed. He outboxed both and yea he had the power to finish them. His knockdowns against both guys were very quick perfectly placed punches.

              Another big fight for Floyd

              Its not his title

Got the most haters than ever

Expect Floyd to dance and use his reach and speed like against Marquez

And he was a Lightweight. in fact( lineal lightweight champ) not JR Lightweight! The credit may not be due for beating him,but based on the circumstaces all credit due for the way he beat him.

And that's okay but it's clear that there has been vast improvement in Martinez, since his fight with Margarito.

and he came back and fought some one that weighed 14lbs fewer in his last fight. its one thing to like a certain fighter but to be delusional is another. Floyd fans are delusional. Shane would get no credit for fighting JMM, he gets no credit for beating the most feared WW at the time for god sakes.

Would it be better if he wasnt stopping people? Isnt that whats being questioned by many, his sudden, crushing ko power? Any trainer will tell you a chin doesnt get better over time and fighters dont get stronger after 50 fights.
