Every one knows Pacquiao has earned the right to be called number 1 pound for pounder. He's at the top of the tree. Within two fights at welterweight he'd already fought and beat the crap out of an opponent (Cotto) the quality of which Mayweather had never taken on in like FOUR years at 147. That's some impressive **** for a little man who springboarded from 135 to 147, making a stop at 140 to annihalate Hatton (who was unbeaten at 140) before stepping up again to demolish Cotto. I DO give Floyd credit for fighting Mosley, though ultimately he's been forced into it since every boxing fan and their mother were waiting to tear him a new one if he took another small opponent when they were kicking around names like Malignaggi and M Hatton (LOL). His reputation was on the line and he's finally taking a significant fight against a genuine welter, it's just a shame Shane hasn't fought in almost a year and a half and who knows how his body will respond, he's not a young man remember. Neither PAC or Mosley is scared of defeat ,they tasted defeat before and it only made them better fighters.Maybe Floyd should suffer the agony defeat first before we can see his full potential, without the undefeated record lurking his path to better opposition.
