Id say Floyd will win by majority decision. If you saw the Mosley-Cotto fight Cotto was able capitalize using the jab and by costantly throwing punches so Shane was like in a hurry to do something. Floyd is better than Cotto in every deparment and he just don't fade in the later rounds like Cotto. The reason Mosley-Cotto was a close fight is because Cotto faded in the later rounds and Mosley was constantly attacking him during the whole fight. It is true Mosley in the opening rounds wasn't as agressive as in the later rounds. If he is able to be agressive and smart the whole fight we might see a good fight but still Mayweather has the tools to overcome in the fight. I gave it a MD because Mosley will definitely will show his A game and im pretty sure it will be a competitive fight. I have scores 116-112, 115-113, 114-114 giving Mayweather the victory even though Im not a Mayweather fan what's so ever. I hope Shane make the correct adjustments to overcome in the fight.

I think Floyd by decision. It will be controversial decision between if you favor aggression or defence and accuracy. I see Shane putting pressure on Floyd early and landing shots winning him rounds. Floyd will be catching him coming in but he won't be strong enough to tie Shane up like past opponents. Eventually Shane will slow down later in the fight and Floyd will potshot and out box him just like in the Cotto fight. It will be a very good, close fight.

im picking floyd because of the age gap. I

still have doubts with mosley win against margarito with no wraps.

i know the styles are much different
but the mosley that beat margarito beats floyd.
mosley you fight so much better with your dad out of your corner.
will mayweather have the heart if the going gets ruff?
mosley has a vvvery good chin! he needs it. he gets hit more now.

Now that is true. Plus Oscar doesn't like being hit in the tummy (not after what B-Hop did to him), and once Floyd started jabbing that mid-section, Oscars jab was gone.

Boxing fans may in fact be in for a rude awaking come May 2nd....Or maybe just I will.

You know, that funny thing about boxing, is styles make fights. Mayorga may in fact be to wild for Floyd.

But if I had to pick on it, I would have to say, Floyd easy win. Maybe even an mid round KO.

                    Mayweather EASY win.

I see Floyd starting off with a jab to the body an head over and over because Shanes weakness is a goodjab and hes not skilled enouh to time them. Dont believe me watch the Cotto fight. Cottos jab owned Mosley and kept him at bay and uncomfortable. Floyd does not lead with his jab alot but against Shane as WE ALL KNOW Shane struggles with jabs and Mayweather has a good one.

I see Shane getting hit with that jab to the stomach and getting circled Constantly by Floyd who will not stop moving in this fight. Floyd has the footspeed to dart in and out on Shane and get off punches. I see shane having to sell out to get again and thats when I see him him tryng to bull rush Floyd on the insde during the clinches alot.

Mayweather Like I said will make himself a damn near immpossible target to hit by his constant circling and movement. After a few arounds Floyds lead right will start to connect and along with a jab that is the punch that Shane has no defense for. I think the handspeed edge goes to Mayweather IMO. Shane is fast but I believe in the Cotto fight...Cotto was as fast or faster.

Mayweather will be circling, pot shotting darting in and out and using the shoulder roll which basically gives righties a slim chance to land anything big. Mosley does not have the legs to chase Floyd and Floyd will make him look OLD. Shane will have his moments but they will be few and far between I see him throwing and the crowd cheering but they wont be landing effectively. Shane is a very wide puncher when he wants to be and after he realizes hes down on the cards hell look for ONE shot and then my friends thats where this fight wil get UGLY for Shane, because Floyd will tag his ass non stop and might even drop Shane a few times. No not because of power but because Floyds accuracy, speed, shanes aggresiveness, his wild swinging and the fact that he punches with his eye close. The punches that hurt are the ones you dont see and they can pout you on your ass.

Shane has a real dislike for Floyd but he respects him. In the ring I think Shane will be looking for that ONE punch that never happens as Floyd turns his face to a pinata.

Mayweather UD or late corner or ref stoppage. (Too many punches wil land Flush on Shane)
