With everything Pac has been doing in last couple years, I can't see Mayweather outshining that with one fight. I can't imagine Shane making Floyd look good.

Floyd is already P4P #1, anyone says beating Mosley doesn't put him back at the #1 spot is a *******. Mayweather's skill set alone brings him back to the #1 spot.

Who cares, it's all opinion at the end of the day. I rather have THE BOXERS, you know, the people that do the fighting in the ring, settle that debate when Mayweather and Pac get it on at the end of the year.

if floyd beats shane by a wide ud or knock him out, which i doubt, he can be considered #1 again. if shane wins floyd will not even crack top 5. floyd has a lot to lose in this fight so i give him props for finally growing a pair to fight shane.

Yeah that is what I'm thinking, Floyd would really have to shine against Mosley to get that #1 for me. I can't see it happening though.

p4p is about accomplishments more than skills.

If Pac is ineffective vs. Clottey in March and Floyd embarasses Mosley, I would move him to #1 overall simply because he never lost that recognition, he merely retired for 2 years. Coming back and beating up Marquez and Mosley is enough to reclaim that spot, especially since Pac first beat two guys Mayweather had already walked through, DLH and Hatton.

IMO, fighting Marquez and Mosley > fighting Cotto and Clottey.

At the end of the day, Mayweather-Pac needs to happen in the fall or the winter.

no. pac has been moving up and destroying guys. what floyd is doing now he should have done years ago when mosley was prime. mosley almost lost to mayorga.
