I'm not a Roy nuthugger, Roy just made Ruiz look foolish. I got a good laugh out of Tarver KO'ing Roy. I'm not a hater, I just base my opinions on logic and not emotion. You guys just fire back "blah blah your the nuthugger, blah blah your a hater.." why dont you explain why it was so easy for Roy Jones and ESPECIALLY a severely overweight James Toney to easily defeat him? It's an obvious FACT that he was not allowed to illegally clinch. You simply can't clinch more than you land punches. It's a fact that Don King is Ruiz' promoter, and he's been known as a shady character. Just excuses or namecalling you and emotionally charged fans of certain boxers are all that ever reply. Never analyzation or debate. Just name calling and nonsense and that's not logic, it's emotion.

Two factors allowed Toney to lose that fight. Even a great champ like Ruiz who took more **** from the media and so called fans than anyone in boxing history can only take so much before it starts to get to him. No doubt for everything he brought to boxing and how hard he had to fight to accomplish what he did he felt pretty damn low and unappreciated. He then went into this last fight deciding not to fight his fight but to fight to please the idiots in the media and the dumb fans. He should have never done this and stuck to smothering his opponents. Going off his game lost him the fight.

The last factor is Don King wanting to get rid of Ruiz because the "first HW latino" didn't sell and everyone he set Ruiz up with would lose. Ruiz wouldn't sell seats so he had to get rid of him to set up better fights. So he made sure the ref really got on Ruiz ass during the whole fight. That ref never stopped Toney from clinching, but if Ruiz even thought about it, the ref was there interfering. It was a total set up.

Ruiz was still a better champ than Roy was and went out like one, not a ***** like Roy did. That's pathetic that Roy never even took a defense. He just gave it up because he knew it was too much for him.
