Leonard Ellerbe, adviser to Floyd Mayweather Jr., says his fighter returned from retirement to clean house.
should have been done years ago, but he sort of "retired" instead

Mayweather wants the big events and the big names at welterweight.
uhuh, when the top welters 2 years ago were either exposed, beat-up, old, or banned...how fearless.

“As I’ve said many times, when Floyd decided to come back to boxing, he did it to be in major events. He’s going to face all of the top welterweights and one by one, knock them all off.”

      couldn't even knock out a blown-up sluggard ex-lightweight champ.

FMJ's skills and talent would've been enough to beat the top welters years ago, but I really believe cowardice got in the way. He deprived boxing fans those fights. He should have fought Cotto, then Margarito years ago. He should have been fighter of the decade if he only chose to fight top guys in the division.

Mosley showed he is still a force against Margo altough I'm convinced Margo's mind wasn't in the ring that night but whatever.

Hope Floyd fights Mosley and Manny vs Clottey's winner in a row.
i do agree that margarito's mind was not there at all...
now shane looked too fat cuz margarito is too slow,
shane might look slow against floyd, the only difference in the fight will be speed and age

All of your comments are factual and I'm not sure how anyone could refute them.

Thank you, though my post does not entirely say FMJ is not great, coz FMJ is. I just think he lacks confidence and fell inlove with his "0".

No one can debate his talent or his early greatness.
