I can't believe how bad Golden Boy is crapping on Mosley. You're telling me Mosley, who's a partner in Golden Boy, can't get a tuneup before the biggest fight of his life??? GBP is sacrificing Mosley to Mayweather to compete with the Top Rank Pacquiao machine. Smh. Mosley should've bailed when they couldn't even get him a stay busy fight after the Margarito win.

This marks the beginning and is a great first step in the right direction for Mayweather. Mosley will be competitive but in the end I think Floyd wins on youth and natural ability, having said that this must simply be a first step and it cannot end with Mosley. Mosley is a great challenge for anyone but Floyd must take further steps after this only taking on the elite fighters in and around 147-154, anything less than that level of competition and he will be right back to where he started as far as public opinion goes. In any event, great first step for Mayweather.

De la Hoya was washed up when May and Pac fought him. Baldomir was never good and no one who calls themselves a boxing fan should claim he was a legit opponent. Neither was Marquez.

..In order for Mosley to win over Jr is to impose his will the 1st 3 rounds. Everybody knows that Jr will not stand in front of Mosley during the fight.

Jr. will use the same style that Cotto did to Mosley. I like Mosley but at his age and a long lay-off? it will bevery difficult for him to stay with Jr for 12 rds.

Jr will fight a little bit but will most likely use the ring to his advantage but if Mosley take the fight to Jr. right away..He may just get lucky and actually hurt Jr. and Knck Jr out.

Jr is scared to get hit and that makes him a very smart boxer, he runs away. To beat Jr....is to hunt him down within 3 rounds and make Jr feel Mosley's power.
If Jr is still standing after 5 rounds..forget it..!

i kinda think the lay off will help mosley cuz of his age look at b-hop sometimes he don't fight for a year but all way's look's fresh he is a gym rat so is money so is mosley they will both be ready

Even if that was a **** hair close type of fight (which I don't think it was) you've gotta admit that at least Mosley and GBP want the fight now. Be honest with yourself. Has Arum ever had any intention of putting Cotto in the ring with Floyd? And to me that has always been true despite Floyd going into retirement. Hell, Mosley called Floyd out harder than Cotto did even after he lost to Cotto.
