The PBF of 147 would beat the PBF of 130, 135 or 140 IMO.
Floyd has his craft perfected these days.

Yes, Floyd is still in his prime. People vary differently when it comes to being in prime shape or not. Floyd is still in his prime. Why?

First of all, Floyd does nothing detrimental to his health. Not drugs, no alchohol, he is basically your Men's Health fitness guru. Second, he takes ABSOLUTELY ZERO damage when he fights, so his longevity is helluva lot longer than say, Cotto. And last but not least, what makes him look like he isn't in his prime? He still can't be touched, his reflexes are still rediculous, his footwork is still on point, he can knock the wings off a fly, and you can't predict his punches.

So yes, Floyd is still in his prime.

Concerning the fights at 130. Floyd is a natural WW. So when he faught at 130, he was packing helluva lot more power than Featherweights were. Add that to his natural ability, thats why you would take him at 130 anyday over 147. Floyd isn't a naturally strong puncher, which is why he doesn't hurt people at 147 much.

Thats why the smaller weight legends never moved up. Because they maximize their power at smaller weights. They made weight but out power:size ratio'd their opponents.

He's 33 in 3 weeks. He'll be 33 vs. Mosley on May 1st. Mosley will be 38. Pac will be 31 on March 13th vs. Clottey.

                • he started his boxing career as an amatuer at 106 lbs 17 years ago
                • he started his pro career at 130 lbs
                • he won his first world title 12 years ago
                • he has had 40 professional fights in his 14 year long career
                • he isn't as fast or explosive as he was at 130 or 135 lbs
                • he doesnt throw combinations anymore
                • his workrate has decreased over the years

so my question is, do you guys think Mayweather is in his prime AKA his absolute best?

No,he`s somewhat past it,He was much faster in his prime. The extra weight and age has decreased his speed and punching power. But he`s still pretty fast though.

Hell no he's not in his prime. He's a few years passed his prime. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe that he is shot but he's had a long, successful career. He definately has more than enough left to have a few more mega paydays.

i think his point is on may 1st

                    mosleys age would be 38
                    mayweathers age would be 33
                    pacquiaos age would be 31

all of them would be in their thirties

i think floyd is bigger, stronger, and smarter now, maybe a little bit slower but great head movement. i think he is prime.
