Is Floyd Mayweather in his Absolute Prime?

just vote yes or no simple... some points to consider:
    • he will be 33 years old in 3 weeks
    • he started his boxing career as an amatuer at 106 lbs 17 years ago
    • he started his pro career at 130 lbs
    • he won his first world title 12 years ago
    • he has had 40 professional fights in his 14 year long career
    • he isn't as fast or explosive as he was at 130 or 135 lbs
    • he doesnt throw combinations anymore
    • his workrate has decreased over the years

so my question is, do you guys think Mayweather is in his prime AKA his absolute best?

No, but i believe hes in his "punches" prime. His precision is very on point. Nice hard clean shots.

Hell no. I'll take the Floyd at 130, 135, and 140 any day of the week. At 147 and 154, Mayweather struggles with the size difference of his opponents. Yet he's still an undefeated, 5 division champion.

i would agree that floyd is not in his prime as far as comparing him in atg status like at his absolute best. i think he is little past that. but he still has more tha enough for anyone out there. a win against floyd counts just as much today as it ever would and i am what some would call a *****.

                130: Diego Corrales
                135: Jose Luis Castillo
                140: Arturo Gatti
                147: Shane Mosley
                154: Oscar De La Hoya

Mayweather has stepped up in each weight division he has fought in.
