That comment I never understood. Margarito was the #1 WW at the time... Margartio arguably has one of the best WW resume this past decade... But, to be fair some people who make that exact comment on the bold are Floyd fans...

my question to boxing scene is has shane mosley all of a sudden become a better fighter then he was 2years ago? i find it funny how when m cotto fought sugar shane and defeated him the majority of boxing fans and floyd mayweather fans were so quick to point out his age and the fact that he had seen better days so did he become a better fighter with age or did ****m richardson make that much of a difference or is it because we as fans of certain fighters sometimes subconsciously feel the need to discredit another fighters opponents and resume to make our fave fighter look better?

Margarito was right in front of Shane, easy to hit, easy to grab. Floyd will frustrate the hell out of him. Mosley hasn't seen decent speed since he fought Cotto over 2 years ago. A guy with Floyd's style will make him look his age.
