I think Pac's work rate will suffocate Clottey to where he is just fighting to survive. I don't think Pac will let Clottey get off much during the fight. Pac's stamina will have him in Clottey's face for the full 12 rounds and I think Pac will walk through the very little resistance Clottey puts up.I agree that size alone won't beat him BUT Clottey brings more to the table... dude has fast hands and boxing smarts... Pacquiao since moving up became more of a boxer to start fights out and when he realized that his opponents could do him no harm or that he softened them up he run over them... this will not happen with Clottey...
Remember also that Pac himself said that Cotto hurt him and Cotto landed one punch punches at the time... Clottey doesn't hit as hard Cotto but faster and will land more often... if Pacquiao has to box with movement for 12 rounds it will tire him out... I think the fight could be very interesting... based on the fact that Pacquiao is not a real welter for me IMO... but if he massacres Clottey I was wrong with that and he is a true welter...
Only way to find is when both men meet in the ring.Comment

Fair enough, but I rather not see Marquez go down like that.
If he gets past Amir Khan, then I'll reevaluate what I've said, but right now a fight against Pac at 140 is legacy suicide.
JMM should fight against Hatton, and Bradley then retire.
He has nothing left to prove.
A Pac-JMM fight is not interesting after Juan's loss to Floyd.
It might be a good retirement fight for both of them though if Pac fights Floyd and loses.Comment

I think Pac should look at fighting JMM a third time if JMM wins his next fight and the Pac-Floyd negotiations go nowhere again. I want to see JMM-Khan or JMM-Bradley. I think JMM can get past Khan, but not Bradley.Fair enough, but I rather not see Marquez go down like that.
