    Probably JMM at 140.

But the Clottey fight is legit, should be good.

      I like Pac-Clottey...

I mean Marquez against Pacquiao wouldn't offer anything new... only exception would be if Marquez can't handle Pacquiao's shots and get KO'd... but if he can handle it... it will be again a close fight that Pacquiao wins... I had him win the first two as well... so the fight doesn't offer me anything new even though a fight of that class would be worth watching...

Clottey is better then his resume says... he is also a strong welter... we will see how Pacquiao handles that... I think Pacquiao wins but I give Clottey a chance if he gets his head into this and doesn't find a way to loose and scream robbery afterwards... he will hit Pac more then Cotto did... and I don't think that Pacquiao lands clean enough to soften Clottey up... he will be there for 12 rounds

        Pac-JMM 3 isn't even a fight.

JMM couldn't handle Pac punches at 126 and 130, how the fck he gonna handle them at 140+?

Hell, pillow fisted Juan Diaz hurt Marquez and almost knocked him down.

At this point Pac KO's JMM cold. Jmm's chin can't take Pac's power at 140.

Even if Pac fought and KO'd JMM at this point, detractors would only say that Marquez is Floyd's leftovers.

Pac-JMM 3 is dead unless Pac loses to Clottey and JMM beats Khan.
Marquez won more rounds than Pacquiao in their 2 fights. Marquez has been knocked down by several opponents, but he has never been knocked out. He is a warrior that always rises of the canvas. Pac-JMM III would be a war. Pac-Clottey will be a massacre.

Enough is Enough, there's no real reason or need for a third fight with Marquez.

Clottey better show up though, and Pac better put a little makeup on those track marks running down those arms...heh.

          Pac - Clottey

We have seen how Pac deals with size. Size alone is not enough to topple Pac. You need speed and power or defense as well. Clottey has a little defense, but I think it will play right into Pac's game plan.

I don't know if I can rank P-Will ahead of Clottey... since he has not fought at WW over a year now..., I like Clottey resume overall body work over Berto... And, Baldomir was the last WW that Floyd beat and that was 3yrs... but, I still rank Floyd over Clottey... But, some rank Clottey over Floyd just cuz of that... But, it really all depends on what your criteria is...
My reasoning is talent and accomplishments at WW. The 6 WWs that I list above Clottey are more talented and have accomplished more at WW. It can also be argued that Collazo and Quintana have accomplished more at WW than Clottey. Although I do think Clottey is more talented than both Collazo and Quintana.

Sounds more like you're trying to convince yourself.

JMM gets stopped by Pac at 140+.

It doesn't go past 6 rounds.

JMM is too old and too slow at that weight.

Pac-Clottey is a 12 round war, Clottey is a bigger fighter who is better defensively and always makes it a rough night for whoever he's fighting.

If I had to choose which one I rather pay $50 for, I'd choose the guaranteed war against a top 5 WW rather than the bloated old lightweight coming off a one sided loss.

                  Easy.

Yes, I've seen JMM at 135. Two wars that he won by knockout. I don't see how you can say he wouldn't be competitive with his skill arsenal against Pac at 140. I think JMM would give him another battle. Fighting Pac at 140 is a completely different fight than fighting Mayweather at 147. I don't really see how you can compare the two. I think JMM at 140 would be a much tougher fight for Pac than DLH and Hatton were.

I agree that size alone won't beat him BUT Clottey brings more to the table... dude has fast hands and boxing smarts... Pacquiao since moving up became more of a boxer to start fights out and when he realized that his opponents could do him no harm or that he softened them up he run over them... this will not happen with Clottey...

Remember also that Pac himself said that Cotto hurt him and Cotto landed one punch punches at the time... Clottey doesn't hit as hard Cotto but faster and will land more often... if Pacquiao has to box with movement for 12 rounds it will tire him out... I think the fight could be very interesting... based on the fact that Pacquiao is not a real welter for me IMO... but if he massacres Clottey I was wrong with that and he is a true welter...

Only way to find is when both men meet in the ring.
