But waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttt a minute boys & girls, if you actually look through the “SMOKE SCREENS” blown out by Team Pacquiao, you will see that Bryan Brooks is no more than an 0-6-1 fighter who has been knocked out twice in his minimal career by 2 fighters who were fighting in their pro debuts.

On top of all that, Brooks hasn’t fought in 5 years. His last fight was in 2005 in which he fought to a draw.

Wait it gets better, Brooks was born in September of 1970. Now I am no Calculus Major, but if my math serves me correctly, Brooks should be 39 years of age quickly approaching the tender age of 40.

Why would Freddie Roach release statements to the media about Manny beating up a sparring partner of this caliber? Is this really news?

Co-sign homey, but at least it's just a sparring session and not a real championship match.

I would condemn it if it’s a match by a self-proclaimed greatest boxer fighting a 39 yrs old inactive boxer.

If Floyd Mayweather dont fight Shane Mosley/Pacquiao or any top welterweights than my statement is valid. Who care's if Pacquiao is sparring with a 0-6, if it's going to help him in Clottey fight than it does not matter hes sparring with. It's his choice of spar partners, its not like they are selling it on PPV and you dont get to watch it.

I agree with everything you said. I see some of the Pac worshippers on this site are defending him at all costs. The truth is there is no defense for bragging about this crap as Roach did. If he wants Pac to spar with someone like that, that is his business. There is nothing wrong with building a fighter's confidence. However, you shouldn't brag about how "awesome" Pac looked in beating up a guy that can't fight. That is the equivalent of a high school senior bragging about beating up the toughest guy in another school -- only to find out later that the "toughest guy" he was talking about was in Junior High School.
