He may not be a PPV draw on his own name but in this bout he is a big reason as to why it would do good numbers. Just because you're not a main event PPV draw by yourself, like Pacquaio and Mayweather doesn't mean you're not a draw. People recognize Shane as a dangerous opponent and will be the reason why this PPV does a half a million more than Mayweather/Marquez. Shane is responsible for 40% of the buys imo and should be entitled to 40% of the pay. Anything above 40% would be too much, because in the end Floyd is still bringing in a far greater percentage of viewers.

Nate would take 20%, but no one would be interested to see Floyd fight him. Nate beat Juan Diaz, that's about all he has going for him.

it should be 70-30 floyd, alot of casual boxing fans dont rate a 38year old man with 5 losses too much.i disagree but thats just the way it is.mosley should accept it if thats the deal

This thread is rubbish. What the threadstarter is saying is that it's ok for Floyd's greed to kill yet another big fight that fans have been wanting to see for a long time now. I will never understand why any "fan" cares about the monies involved in these fights, since we as spectators aren't getting our pockets greased. Shane is the more or less WW world champion right now. He is Floyd's only serious option without Pac. What's wrong with Shane taking 40%? Hell, if he asked for a 50-50 deal, are we to believe that would be unfair to Floyd? Bollocks.

60-40 is good split in favor of floyd. mosley is very smart he knows floyd has no where to go but to fight him if the fight didn't get made people will blame floyd and will be accuse again as a ducker or coward.t

not when u talking multi millions. Mosley should be happy with the flat rate. He doesn't generate enough interest for a %

One, even though Pacquaio is the p4p #1, Mosley is the man at Welter courtesy of demolishing Margarito recently to go along with his many past accolades in the division, two, he's the best name/skill value opponent available other than Pac, and three, Floyd's painted himself into a corner. Pac moved on after trying to make a fight with Floyd to easily make a fight with Clottey, a top five Welterweight. If Floyd drops Mosley, it only adds fuel to the fire that Floyd ducks top opposition, and after the Pac letdown, having another letdown would be very damaging to him. 60-40 is a fair deal with this in mind.

Mosley should take the flat rate of about 3-4m or take 25-30%. I personally don't beleive he deserves a % based on the revenue he generates.

Floyd giving him 40% is like looking out for shane. And i don't think he too fond of mosley!
