Do you honestly think the fight would have gone much differently? True Hatton might have been a little better, but it may have ended up worse for him overall, because Floyd at 140 was faster, more aggressive, not small for the weight, and very much in his prime, he would have tattooed Hatton.

You are trying to compare a past prime former FW jumping up from LW to fight Floyd at WW, to a career LWW jumping up to a weight he had fought at before, against Floyd, who he outweighed on F/N......
    Yep, he is.

Its just the way he rolls.

      Yes he has been stopped

      2003-02-15 142½ David Keir 148 3-2-1

Conference Centre, Wembley, London, United Kingdom L TKO 2 6x3

Cotto vs Jennings was a little different, for one Jennings is a smarter fighter than MattHatt, and two Cotto is not an explosive knock-you-dead puncher like Shane, he jabs his way in, ****s the body, ****s the head, breaks you down.

Shane is a fast brawler who moves in, and explodes.

He is a decent poster on other topics, but a tad off-beat when it comes to the Hatton's. It's just loyalty on his part you are right.

absolutely I do, a lot of Hatton's boxing strength is to do with physicality, his physicality is worth very little at 147. He was even hanging on against Collazo. Floyd's skill carries up, but Hatton's physicality didn't, however it would be a major factor at 140 and still is.

you make some good points, I stand corrected on the Keir fight. I still think it goes beyond 5 though. MattHatt would adopt a different gameplan. As I said before, many said Jennings was going out early, regardless of wht actually happened.

You are right in saying that skill carries up whilst physicality sometimes doesn't. The fight at 140 would have been a better version of the two fighters, but overall I think it would have ended the same way.

No worries, doubt the fight would happen anyway. Look maybe it could go past 5, but not much longer than that.

I think most would agree with you on that, personally i think it becomes a 50/50 fight at 140. Respect your views tho man, your knowledge is impressive.
