He was able to knock Diaz down in the first though

@ 130, he had just enuf to keep his foes honest, but not enuf to KO them...

his underrated skills, was enuf to tide him through...

but now @ 135? where guys are naturally bigger? & he himself being older now?

i cant see erik really making noise...

but who really knows for certain right?
Yeah, and I doubt he would make 135 now without being seriously drained. The only noise he will make is the sound of his ass hitting the canvas, the comeback won't end well.

Yeah, Diaz is tough too, but his punch is not as devastating as it was at 122 and 126 or even at 130.

from the way he looks all bloated, he'll appear slow in his comeback, i cant see him fighting any top guys, but i can see him being fed to amir khan, or maybe a zab judah fight, at the stage judah is in now, a judah-morales would be interesting( on the b side of things)

Maybe his fire for boxing has rekindled.

If Marquez still has something at 36 going on 37, I see no reason why Morales can't try to make a comeback at a higher weight class(135-140).
But dude, Erik has been fighting at championship level since the late 90's, and his style was much more aggressive and open than JMM's. And I don't recall JMM losing his last 4 or 5 fights before going on the run he has done of late.

People are forgetting how shot the guy was when he retired.

He is definately past it but I think he has a specific plan that is workable.
