I agree on the Duran Vs Dejesus II. Duran was at his best here. I don't agree with Duran been at his greatest against Leonard the first time. I actually saw this one live on tv in Panama. I was 9 years old. At the end of 1979 it was a winding down time for Duran. But of course in a winding down you will have excellent fights such as that win against Leonard. I loved the win against Iran Barkley, though. Duran was clearly in shape, but not his greatest by any means. Everything just came together for him that night. It was beautiful! I get soft-eyes when I see Duran been raised by his corner as the winner when the cards are read. He looked so happy that all the work put into it paid off. This fight is priceless to me. I want to say that before, when he fought 'The Hit Man' he was just not interested in fighting. He was there for a pay check. You can clearly see this in his behavior towards Hearns.
