What fight was Duran at his greatest?

I've heard so much about Duran but only seen 2 fights from him

    Buchanan (which he was good)
    and
Hearns (which Duran was out of his prime and weight) so that one doesnt count

so which fight was he at his best?

I'd say Leonard #1 he was tip-top and as ferocious as ever....

but his most impressive win, IMO, was against Barkley, because The Blade had every physical advantage aside from heart, and Duran's heart got him the victory

gotcha, then Leonard #1, and I guess against Davey Moore at the Garden would have been his 2nd best

Duran and De Jesus fought twice. Later in life, De Jesus was diagnosed with AIDS, Duran went to see him in the hospital and took him the championship belt and told him "here, this is yours, you're the real champ" De Jesus died a few days later.

duran was not in his prime in the heavier weights
i would have to say that around the estaban de jesus times were his best he had awsome power at that weight and was just unstopable
