      Marquez is an absolute beast!

I never get tired of watching that video

It's a shame the rematch won't happen, and if it did Marquez would be too old and too fat to put up as much of a fight

You dont need to fight right handed fighters all the time just to improve your defense against right handed fighters. All you need is re-watch what were you doing wrong, change your gameplan, execute the gameplan properly and boom there you go.

Floyd could absolutely have as much success against Pac as JMM did - but the thing I worry about Floyd is his activity.

IMO he won't be as willing to engage and exchange with Pac as JMM was. Floyd will be more defensive minded and just try his best to make Pacquiao miss as much as possible, whilst occasionally opening up.

JMM took chances, allowed himself to get hit in order to hit back with better, more eye catching combinations. Floyd won't take chances, and will not be willing to take a few shots - especially once he's felt Pac's power.

I think Floyd will outbox Pac and take a UD or SD. But I don't think he will beat him up in the way JMM did - although he could if he chose to do so.

A good way of beating floyd is to step on his foot before throwing combination to prevent pbf to run away.

I know some will say "Manny has improved since the 2nd Marquez fight in 2008" ....BUT how can we know this is fact if he hasnt fought a RIGHT HAND DOMINANT fighter since Marquez???

                    Marquez-Pacquiao 1 in 2004

                    Total Punches

                    Marquez 158/547 =29%

                    Pacquiao 148/639 = 23%

                    Power Punches

                    Marquez 122/339 =36%

                    Marquez-Pacquiao 2 in 2008

                    Total Punches

                    Marquez 172/511 =34%

#'s dont lie....in both fights Pac was literally outboxed besides the knockdowns.......and this was from a RIGHT HAND COUNTER PUNCHER.....

That's what I'm saying, Floyd will beat Pacquiao with his defense and accuracy.

But your question to me was, will he beat Pac up in the way JMM did? More than likely not. JMM won against Pac both times IMO despite being knocked down 4 times, had him shaken up, cut, bloodied. I can't see Floyd doing that.

I'm open for Floyd to prove me wrong, but I just don't see it.
