That's not true. Marquez's punches were bouncing off May's body, it had no effect. Check out May's fight with Welters and Oscar.......it had an effect. It's like a 6 year old kid trying to beat me up.

no matter how many times you watch the fight ,mayweather didn't bully marquez but marquez knows he is at a disadvantage before the bell rung,mentally and physically

I had Marquez winning both fights, the first by a few points and the second by one. He's done better against Pac each time they have fought and I still think he'd win in the trilogy.

i never said Marquez could compete @ 147...

but to say just because he gained 7lbs to fight Floyd doesnt mean the weight was the REAL issue...it was the skill level

JMM fought Pac @125 and then 4 years later @130....with the same style and effectively counter punched him the same....

style has nothing to do with weight

Pac for sure...but people forget in the 2nd Marquez fight....JMM came in as a lightweight and Pac was a welterweight and was still outboxed...lol

clottey is a better boxer , marquez is a better brawler

i agree with this...100%...clottey is so technical that he doesn't really have a style...kind of like kessler...but he's much more sound with his defense...i really think this will be manny's hardest fight...unless he completely overwhelms clottey and hurts him early...clottey will make him work to a decision...which i think pac will win...but he will be beat up in the process...

i'm just praying that if clottey has the opportunity, he will pull the trigger and not leave any doubt like he did in the cotto fight (which i believe he clearly won...but the fact that he didn't take advantage against a champion...that was his own demise)
