It's best if they let the fighters talk without anyone else talking before the fight. This is all to frustrate the opponent, same way they did Cotto, thats why Cotto didnt even give Pac respects once first bell rang. He just doesnt, He didnt throw more punches against slower cotto, He didnt throw more punches against a slower Margarito, He leading by a round against Judah in a fight that should have been a shut out win for him.

what he learned and what he is capable of doing are two VASTLY different things

Clottey never has been and never will be a volume puncher or a puncher that craves activity. He lays back and waits for countering oppurtunities. Sometimes he is very effective, often with that jack hammer counter right he throws on a lazy jab, but more often it's too little too late. He seems to not want to exchange moreso than wait for his opponent to stop THEN he starts.

he also isn't a smart fighter and IMO that is something you need to beat Manny. JMM and Morales both had smart very disciplined gameplans and came the closest or actually beat Manny. If you keep Manny guessing then in turn he cannot set or go into his own rhythm.

Clottey is talented but does not posess what it takes to beat or even be competitive with Manny

For me its not so easy.. Clottey is good in defense.. Pacquiao has the speed but Clottey is a good counter attack..this is an exciting fight..
