let's see who comes out at fight night: an old, rusty Morales, or a refreshed, 2nd chance Morales.

Nah man. If your chin has deteriorated and your legs were gone to **** when you were 29 years old, coming back at age 32 or 33 or whatever he is is not going to make them magically re-appear. This will end badly.

I'm with the majority that this could go bad but I'll give him a chance. I mean this guy he's fighting seems tough no pushover, so if Morrales can stop him or humiliate him on the cards and not look tired, then I definitely would love to see him fight Marquez since like said before, Marquez is getting up there too and it's not like he's some aggressive power puncher that would end Morrales life but Marquez division I think is Lightweight and I'd love to see him go back. But if Morrales can't handle this guy or barely escapes with the win, then yeah he should go out on the win.

Even if he looks good in this fight wasn't he weight drained at 130? Why is his goal to go down to 135 after three years off and 40-50lbs of weight gain? I personally thing he should try 140 and work on gaining some muscle/conditioning for a year before even thinking of competing with top guys if not he might be asking to look like Delahoya did against PAC.

the fight is a catchweight at 142, right?? i thought i read it 142..
anyways, if his training will be a good one, he might have a good chance..
I feel a 85% good condition Morales will be enough to beat Alfaro.

But my take on him just staying retired is still my stand...

This time Morales appears to be serious about a comeback. When he steps in the ring on March 27 in Monterrey, Mexico, it will Morales' first fight since August 2007. [Click Here To Read More]
