This isn't about champion and challenger. This is the super-six tourney where titles doesn't matter as long as the tourney lasts.

I don't really care where the fight takes place. I'll be going no matter what. Copenhagen does seem a better venue for travelling fans, but honestly, I don't expect many fans to travel.

Kessler fills arena's anywhere in Denmark, choosing Copenhagen would give the few travelling fans a much easier experience. Plus, the capital would make for a decent weekend away, rather then Herning which nobody outside of Denmark has heard of.

Herning is a great venue and an awesome intimate arena that holds some 6K+ seats. The biggest arena in Copenhagen, outside a stadium, is 5.5K.

To my knowledge Froch has no say in choice of venue.

How far is copenhagen to Herning??? And how easy is it to get to Herning from copenhagen???

Probably 200 miles. Herning is a small town in Jutland.

I.l guess Froch is as disappointed as you are (and me and the wife) because if the fight was for the WBA/WBC Parken stadium in Copenhagen in front of 40-50.000 would be the venue. Now Sauerland goes for the TV-profit.

Parken is few kilometers from Kessler's back yard Islands Brygge, so i.l guess Kessler is disappointed too.....

But anyway - no problems for Froch fans to come to Herning. Fly to Copenhagen and then take a 3 hour train journey - probably the same distance as London - Nottingham .....

Fly London - Aarhus - and then you only have to travel 85 km/53 miles to Herning.

So to get there isn't the problem..................

Carl froch is such a piece of ****. He wont see the 9th round when he fights kessler. He talks this big talk he's honestly the worst fighter england has ever produced. To be the worst boxer england produced you have to almost train everyday to be a ****ty boxer. I hope froch gets found dead in an alley somewhere
