Yes, I've seen him fight. I like to go by most recent fights though, and it would seem like Freitas was wearing Chico down in his last fight. He was basically winning every round against Chico and connecting with some huge shots, but again, these shots didn't hurt Chico. Freitas may not be the pressure fighter that Castillo is, but does it even matter when he was still connecting with great power shots? A punch is a punch and I can't say Castillo will win by breaking him down when the last guy to try that got ****ed up.

        Freitas at 130lbs was 34-0,31KOs
        Freitas at 135lbs is 2-1,0KOs

Freitas has yet to prove that hes carried his power from 130 to 135.Plus,hes physically alot smaller than Castillo.

Once again what im saying is, Castillo wont become discouraged like you said because he is not that type of fighter. He is a workman. He lays the ground work, to finish big.

Freitas wasnt trying to wear chico down, he was trying to stay out of range, and drop chico with punches to the head. Castillo is no Freitas and that is a good thing. As castillo is bigger and a much better offensive fighter than Freitas. He also isnt as wide open as Freitas and wont allow Corrales to have the kind of extension on his punches Freitas did.

Good points, but I guess we'll have to wait until the fight to see how it plays out. I can see that you won't agree with me unless Chico gets the victory, judging by the picture in your avatar. That is why I never pick based on favorites. You just can't debate with fans of a fighter. It's always a dead end.

A commentator (whilst commentating after the Hagler Hearns fight) said he knew that once Hagler had taken Tommy's right hand he knew that Hagler would win(this was after like 30 secs of the fight).

I believe that If Chico lands a bomb on Castillo-and Castillo does a Hagler(and keeps coming) it will be curtains for Chico. That said I think Chico will get on his bike early on and out box Castillo till around 7-8, then start coming forward/attacking Castillo to force a late stoppage/ko.

The first scenario is also very possible too-which is what makes this a great match up.

I know I have seen both of these guys fight, I just cannot remember watching them. Castillo seemed alot more confidence at the press conference and he more fight experience so I am going with Castillo.

I got faith in Corrales, he never quits, and learns from his mistakes, he becomes a better fighter with every fight, I think Castillo is just an unpleasant road block (should of been a triligy with Casamayor), after this fight I feel if he trains hard, puts a gameplan together that he'll beable to beat Mayweather in a rematch, cause he is a smart fighter, both the Freitas and Casamayor fights tought him enough to brush off what Castillo gonna give him, Castillo gonna come foward, and like yesterday on Showtime he said that he will be a boxer/puncher, and by the Casamayor fight showed, he could be out boxed, add alittle homemade sauce to the box, TKO.
