        So did Mayweather from 2000-2006. What does early FOTY award have to do with it?

        Take a look at the yearly award for this decade.

        * 2000 – Puerto Rico Fιlix Trinidad
        * 2001 – United States Bernard Hopkins
        * 2002 – United States Vernon Forrest
        * 2003 – United States James Toney
        * 2004 – Jamaica Glen Johnson
        * 2005 – United Kingdom Ricky Hatton
        * 2006 – Philippines Manny Pacquiao
        * 2007 – United States Floyd Mayweather Jr.
        * 2008 – Philippines Manny Pacquiao
        * 2009 – Philippines Manny Pacquiao

        Is there even a question who won more times this decade?

          De la hoya was past it and that fight was a circus anyway. Top fighters like MAB have even questioned why this fight even took place.

          Cotto was not a top fighter when they faught. After wars with Clottey and Margarito there was not alot of the once top level fighter Cotto left.

          Marquez won both times. Watch the fight again and you will see that Marquez deserved to win both times.

          Yeah he may have beaten an over the hill morales but lets not forget that Morales still won the first bout.

          And what about his performance VS Mayweather. Oh yeah pusseyed out over a few needles. Would any true warrior be scared of giving a bit of blood?

          No unless they are scared they are going to be found out. Also you have to question whether it really was Manny Pacquiao who solely won all those fights? Or was it purely down to his nutritional methods.
