I didn't miss your point. I just feel what you're alluding to misguided. Gamboa is a dynamic fighter who is constantly moving around and opens up when aggressive. I can tell you now that one of this knockdowns was against Darling Jimenez and it was more of an issue with the position of his feet than the damaged caused by a punch. Another one of those knockdowns was from an elbow.

To compare Gamboa at this point in his career to Bernard Hopkins is kind of silly. I think most people will agree.

Makes no difference if he's been knocked down 4 times or 50 times. Some of the best fighters have been knocked down and come back to win fights. That shows determination if you ask me.

I compared Gamboas first 16 fights to Bernards first 16 fights.

How many did Bernard lose? How many did Gamboa lose?

                    And what did it mean?

Listen, all I'm saying is lets not get carried away on the Gamboa hype train. The guy is a phenomenal talent, but we need to stop and observe before we anoint him the next best thing, when he obviously has some major flaws to go with his great skills. If he leaves himself open against a heavy puncher he will be seriously hurt. That's all I'm saying.
