Anyways, I think boxing is one of the only sports where you are criticized for liking one guy/team.
I'm sure there's plenty "Baseball fans" that only watch one team for the most part, same with football, basketball and most others sports.
And eh, I don't have too many favorites, I just like watchin' fights.

when i first got into the sweet science more than 20 years ago, all i knew was Hagler...everything revolved around Marvin...my appreciation of other fighters and other styles took time...if what you say is true, you can't expect new fans of the sport to immediately have that same eye for the sport
what they CAN see tho, are fighters that entertain them and fighters that just talk bull**** to entertain...the sport is needs new interest and new blood...calling them out to try to clown them (which you failed) is not helping the sport OR anyoneComment

De La Hoya is the only one worth mentioning. Baldomir just wasn't that good ever. and floyd waited to fight judah until after he lost baldomir and proved to be a mental midget in the ring. i kind of like zab but the guy can't stay focused in the ring for 12 rounds. Floyd is very good but until he fights the best guys he can he hasn't proved nearly enough. Before retiring he could have cleaned out a loaded WW division, instead he said he had proved everything he could in the sport. and like buddy said he has only fought 6 WW and that is supposed to be a positive, yet manny is upstaging floyds WW resume and he has only been there for a year. What about floyd fighting a lightweight at 144 and than not even bothering to make weight, explain how that isn't completely gutless. and cotto has had 9 WW fights, he has fought judah, mosley, margarito, clottey, and pac. floyd only cares about the business of boxing and that is why i hate him, he gives nothing back to the fans. i used to like him until he got on top and never gave any legit threats a chance to fight him. plus i do like a guy that tries to KO his opponent and not just win on cards with counter punches.Comment
