All of those links are ****** threads, I just highlighted some, but all of those links are worth going through. Goes to show you how Floyd is ducking one guy, or a match up people hyped up, are now cherrypicked opponents.

I didn't even highlighted the Hatton threads, which are funny as well now because Mayweather ducked Coto to fight Hatton[now], but back then that fight was THE fight people wanted to see.

I wasn't posting at the time here only lurking but anyone from that time frame would know that fight dominated the place for 6 months basically, and not with a ton of people saying Floyd would kill Hatton although not to say there weren't a large number backing Floyd.

I honestly do not remember Floyd being as attacked as he was to fight Baldomir, than to fight Margarito. Every one was on Floyd's nuts to fight Baldomir, that was actually the first verbal wars he had with Brian Kenny. It was about Baldomir. I do not remember ESPN, Kenny, breaking Floyd balls to fight Margarito. Maybe he did, but I just missed it. The Floyd ducking Margarito thread didn't come along until 2007-2008. In 2006 it was all Baldomir.

The only people I remember breaking Floyd's balls over Margarito where his number 1 and 2 fans Steve Kim and Doug Fischer, it didn't build steam until much later. That is pretty much the arguments people use even today is those guys arguments from 04,05,06 but at least those guys do know something (even if I disagree most of the time with them) about the sport.

Most people just parrot that stuff and that is annoying as hell.

It is true enough, no one cared about a Margarito fight until much later Floyd got called out on ESPN for fighting Judah instead of Baldomir so it is not like no one wanted to see it or didn't think it was a legitimate fight.

I remember people saying Judah was the MAN to beat Floyd even after Baldomir beat him and I remember people saying Baldomir would beat or at least give Floyd a run for his money also.

I can prove this through digging up threads here if you want to go that route or you can accept the situation was not black and white simple like you are making it out.

Iron is a very good poster, one of my favorites. But I don't blame him for his opinions. To the naked eye, it seems like Floyd is a ducker. But if you look in to it a little more, take certain things in to consideration, take Floyd leaving Top Rank after the Judah fight, which was already signed whether Judah wins or losses to Baldomir, much like the rematch between Pac-Morales, why didn't Pac fight Raheem since Raheem beat Morales? Because Pac-Morales II was signed whether Morales wins or losses to Raheem..why Pac didn't fight Raheem after the Morales rematch, I don't know.

Youtube is very powerful. All people need to see is Margarito approaching Mayweather and asking him for a fight, and Floyd telling him we'll fight down th eline, let it build up. That's it, that's all they need, Floyd is ducking Antonio Margarito.

Yea I was never big on youtube posting because there was never intelligent conversation, here even with all the bullshit there is some good boxing conversation that I don't normally get to have. That sort of conversation doesn't extend to Floyd Mayweather though but whatever there are other guys to talk about even if it is annoying to deal with the Floyd stuff but i still try and deal with it intelligently.
