Just confirm a fight already, sick of the speculation.

A fights either on or off, just let us know which.

Roach would never sign Khan versus Marquez unless he was positive that JMM was shot.

Juan Manuel Marquez is a lightweight previously a super featherweight/featerweight and getting on at 36 we have had this type of fight already with Marco Antonio Barrera who is also 36 and the same size as Marquez. Khan is having to strip down to make the weight at light welterweight and would have no problems fighting at welterweight. Barrera looked tiny when fighting Khan. This fight does not interest me. Marcos Maidana is a little shorter than Khan but is in the same weight division, why not just fight the mandatory then fight Marquez or whoever when he can pick his fights not the other way round? It is not a difficult concept, when you become champion you know you have mandatory fights ,once you have won and got them out of the way then you can pick your fights.

Amir Khan is set to deliver a knockout blow to Ricky Hatton’s comeback fight by facing Juan Manuel Marquez before his close friend.

Hatton has held talks about facing Marquez when he returns this summer, but WBA light-welterweight champ Khan has been offered a clash against the Mexican instead.

The WBA have ordered Khan to face Marcos Maidana, but trainer Freddie Roach said: ‘Maidana is not well known enough and there isn’t enough money in that fight.’

Khan could be stripped of his treasured world title if he fights anyone but Maidana. Roach added: ‘Amir is very proud of his title and doesn’t want to give it up. Maybe we could put Maidana on this undercard and maybe the winners could fight each other.’

Khan said: ‘Freddie said before Floyd Mayweather Jnr fought Marquez, "If you ever fight Marquez, you will take him apart".’

Juan Diaz and Paulie Malignaggi are other opponents on the short list for Khan’s Stateside debut.

Big chance it will play out like this.

Correction he SHOULD be fighting Maidana next the mandatory. Right now Khan is looking for a softer safer option.
