Either John Tate, Greg Page, or Tony Tubbs.

Definitely Lennox Lewis, Lamon Brewster, WK.

I'm curious though, why do people say Michael Spinks? He had enough ability to make 3 title defences before it was stripped from him (Sancioning body BS). He never lost his title in the ring and the only fighter to a) beat him b)knock him down and c) knock him out was Tyson in his prime. I guess it's just opinion, but I'm just curious...

When I think of HW's I think Louis, Tyson, Ali, Lewis, Marciano, Dempsey, etc.

Byrd does not fit in that category
maybe not but he is far from the worst

I agree with an earlier mention of Bruce Seldon being the weakest champ. He won his title on a cut against an old Tony Tucker, beat one of the worse heavyweight challengers in history in Joe Hipp then got nailed in one round by, a past his best Mike Tyson. Seldon is certainly weak!

Agreed but, I think you should give him a chance to see what he can do with it first. You never know maybe some totally different fighter will emerge now that hes champ.

I dont think this will happen but its just a little soon to be putting him on this list dont you think?

Chris Byrd is probably the weakest heavyweight champion in terms of pysical strenght. However that of course does not mean he is the worst heavyweight champion ever by any means. I will take John Ruiz as being the least talented heavyweight champion ever, however the guy did make 4 defences, so there were probably worse guys.

Worst Undisputed Champion Ever, would be an interesting topic, my vote goes to Sonny Liston for the dive he took against Ali, even though if he did not take the dive, supposedly the mafia threatened to eat his children or whatever, but he probably did it just for money, betting against himself to loose a 1st round KO the odds were probably like 1-30 on LIston loosing ViA KO in round 1, especially since the public hated Clay.

Micheal Spinks was one of the best light heavy champs ever. He won two controversial decisions against old man Holmes.( no way he won the second Holmes fight, #1 was close) He beat Steffan Tangstad and Drunk Cooney. Not exactly great. He was a good heavyweight at best. I find it curious how you would question anyone saying Spinks, but then saying Lewis is one of the worst? That's nuts!

people shouldn't discriminate aganist bryd just because of his style, the fact is byrd has been very succesfull and hs made many defences of his title, he certainly isn't one of the weakest champs in history, i think bryd would have given a lot of former champions very tough fights with his style, the same way as jimmy young gave foreman problems, i think bruce seldon has got to be at the top of the list in terms of being the weakest champ
