lol I was looking for the James Toney option before I realized what this thread was about.Last edited by General Zod; 01-23-2010, 09:39 AM. -
Roy Jones Jr was an out and out quality fighter.
Some people are blind to the business and don't realise that it's not always possible to fight everyone. Fighter's aren't usually the ones who decided who they fight.
Jones fought a lot of good opponents.Comment

None of these fighters would have beaten him in his prime IMO... do I have proof NO... but I guess nobody has proof otherwise either huh???
Roy Jones became a little more safety first fighter after seeing what happened to the G-Man... but before that he was one bad muthaaa.Comment

I agree that there's no proof that Roy would've beaten them.
We should cancel all boxing, fantasy fights are all we need, good idea.Comment

Who knows what might have happened?
I'm also tired of this 'he would have won' mentality. It's a cop-out.
We can speculate but we can't make blanket statements like: 'he would have won.'
There are so many factors and if's and but's like 'if Nigel Benn connected on Roy Jones he would have knocked him out for a week.' etc etc.Comment

Nunn ko'd by Toney Roy beat Toney.
Thulani Malinga beat Benn Roy knocked Malinga out in six.
Benn lost to Micheal Watson who lost to Mike McCallum, Roy beat Mike
Steve Collins lost to McCallum & Nunn ,see above.
Michalczewski lost to Fabrice Tiozzo who lost to Virgil Hill, Roy knocked Hill out.
Jirov lost to Toney roy beat Toney.
Can't reply no i'm not saying that he'd beat the people listed because of the triangle just that he didn't need to duck them. You are on this users ignore list and therefore cannot reply to this thread.Last edited by Stab Judah; 01-23-2010, 10:31 AM.Comment
