I still think that its good that Ortiz is staying busy by fighting two months after his last bout

Victor needs good streak of wins. What happened in Maidana fight is hard to forget...

Ortiz is done. He should do what he said he would do and retire.

Victor Ortiz is 22 years old. That's the same age/younger than most of us. Why do you want him to end up like Fernando Vargas? Let him build a little winning streak against mediocre fighters first. People insult GBP and their ways of putting young fighters against tough fighters too early in their careers.

Alatorre lost 8 out of his 10 last fights, including one loss to Jeffrey Resto, who got annihilated by Ortiz about a year ago. This is a really soft opponent and more about staying busy than gaining confidence. I am a bit disappointed as well, surely there's a bit of room between this and rushing him back too fast.
