IMO Lopez is a little more well rounded but Gamboa has more physical gifts. It's hard to tell who's better just by watching two good boxers fight. You can make the case that by watching Mayweather is better than Pacquiao but is doesn't mean he is.Comment

I beleive lopez is a better all around boxer but gamboa is the most naturally gifted of them both...Comment

Gamboa looks better but Lopez has fought the higher level of opposition so he's bound to not look as good. And I sort of believe him when he says he was having massive troubles making weight at 122 considering how he looked at 126.Comment

Gamboa is leagues ahead Lopez in skill. I really liked how Gamboa looked this Saturday, you can tell he's polishing up well. Hands were up for most of the fight, better balance and footwork, top notch reflexes, speed was lighting and the pop has always been there, this guy hits you like a Cobra.
As far as Lopez, he's just heavy handed like Tito and can mix it up well, but other than that he's just a dime a dozen, I don't see the same kind of explosiveness and skill that Gamboa has, plus the fact that he gasses out like a mo***a in every fight that goes for more than 3 rounds. Luevano was landing a solid jab on his grill all night so there is obviously a lot of holes on his defense which was obvious after Penalosa and Matagwa had a field day landing their shots on him.Comment
