you talking about the same williams who got dropped by martinez and couldn't knock him out. i really like pwill but the kid has no power whatsoever. he should throw less punches and try to make more count. no way he can knockout pavlik. and i would be worried if i was his team cause he got caught by martinez and that guy doesn't even come close to pavlik in punching power. pavlik by brutal ko or pwill on cards. if pwill's team really thought he could be kelly they would take this fight at 40/60 easily. this is the fight that puts pwill on the map especially if he wins the middleweight title.

Espino is a legitimate middleweight. If Paul Williams crumbles fighting Martinez, who is a 154 lber. who took the fight on short notice, Pavlik will cremate him inside that ring.

The fight is going to be hilarious if Williams ever mans up. He's actually going to try to stand toe to toe with Pavlik. I'd definitely put up 50 bucks to watch that massacre.

PW is a beast.

I think Paul Williams can be a legitimate threat at Middleweight. He needs to fight a couple of fights up there first to get used to the power and get his legs before going after Pavlik. I agree that he hasn't proven he deserves 50/50 yet. So he should fight some other middleweights and KO them. Maybe 2 Warmup fights and then go after Pavlik.

I don't get the hate on Paul Williams. He's one of the most active fighters in the sport and he fights anybody. It's the promoters messing up the fight with Pavlik and he's offering really good money to Martinez to fight him again and Martinez won't take the bait. He may in the near future, but he hasn't yet. It's crazy too because that fight was won by either fighter by a **** hair.
