Oscar when was knows as the biggest attraction in boxing fought Castillejo it did 400k, Oscar challenging for a record of 6 title defenses against Sturm did 380k, Oscar fighting against Campas did 350k, Oscar fighting Rivera did 240k, Oscar fighting Ike Quartey did 570k, Oscar fighting Chavez in the rematch did 525k, Oscar against Miguel Angel Gonzalez did 345k. Those were not considered bust PPVs.Yes, 500k for one of the biggest names in the sport would be a bad thing. Especially since it's supposed to be a ground breaking PPV, since it's in Cowboys stadium at all. People need to realize that Pac is not the ultimate PPV guy unless he is matched with someone with a big name. Cotto was a big name and a big part of this that PPV going to a million and a quarter. People that argue that Pac is a bigger draw then Mayweather are certainly big time biased if you ask me. No hate but it's just pretty much laid out there when you compare most of their common opponents.
So again Pac doing 500k with an opponent like Clottey who does not have a huge following is a bad thing?Comment

Yeah, he isn't that big of a draw but he also isn't an American or even speak English that well. He does good for what he is but it's silly when people say that he is a bigger PPV attraction than Floyd. I don't really like either fighter but I get a kick out of the bias from some posters.Comment

Oscar was a draw, Oscar at one point was considered the #1 P4P in boxing was not breaking 500k with some of his opponents... When you get a mili PPV #s you need to have a dance partner... Nobody can do milli by themselves. Not even Tyson broke a mili by himself...Comment
