Yes, 500k for one of the biggest names in the sport would be a bad thing. Especially since it's supposed to be a ground breaking PPV, since it's in Cowboys stadium at all. People need to realize that Pac is not the ultimate PPV guy unless he is matched with someone with a big name. Cotto was a big name and a big part of this that PPV going to a million and a quarter. People that argue that Pac is a bigger draw then Mayweather are certainly big time biased if you ask me. No hate but it's just pretty much laid out there when you compare most of their common opponents.
According to Dan Rafael Pac/Clottey will not have a 24/7 show

300K+ are good numbers in my opinion. People all of a sudden think anything under 1M is a failure. Of course we should all expect more from Pacquiao but people simply don't want to see this. 500K PPV Buys for Pacquiao Clottey is a sucess IMO.Comment

Oscar was the biggest draw in boxing and there were times when he didn't have the right opponent he didn't brake 500k... JMM-Pac were guys at 130 who had a cult following at the time... There is no cult following with Clottey... Just like there was no cult following with Yory boy Campas when Oscar fought him...Comment

Good Call, both guys are hard to understand. HBO can draw better ratings throwing in new episodes of their award winning sitcoms.Comment

so if he did over a mil with oscar and with Cotto.......so a 500-700K drop off is terrible for the biggest star & p4p #1 fighter in boxingComment
