ou have to take into account the money and time that Paul lost geting prepared for Pavlik TWICE, when Kelly pulled out both times.

Homey,I'm a Punisher fan trying to be as unbiased as possible!!Pavlik is the champ,no way around it!!I'm not like those couple posters on here who seem to type from a strictly I hate Punisher type vibe!!The champ will always command more money,especially when they both aren't that big a draw!!But the Punisher taking 45,or 40% almost guarantees that Pavlik has no choice but to fight & if he does,the Punisher beats him & becomes champ & gets all the cards that Pavlik now holds!!50/50 is fair,but taking 45 to 40% & making the fight happen,is more important!!

Pavlik's a proven draw and is the Middleweight champ of the world. Williams vs Winky and Martinez required people being offered seats in the lower level to make the fight look good on TV (kinda looks bad when the crowd for the Main Event looks like the 1st fight on a PPV card).

Pavlik can go to Atlantic City and have a big following. Can you say that about anywhere in the US with Williams? Even in his own hometown? Prob not...

Before the Matrinez fight no Pavlik should have gotten the bigger share but since Kelly has not fought anyone worth mentioning in ummmm 2 years. I don't count B Hop cause that was strictly for $$$ fight had no relivance at MW what so ever....Yes right now it should be 50/50 because alot of people have lost interest in Pavlik. If Kelly could grab a fight with someone worth fighting like Martinez maybe Winky or some other name and KO him then maybe some steam comes back into Kelly's sell ability. But as of now I cannot see a fight past either Williams or Martinez for Pavlik and only Williams should get 50/50 Martinez is not a draw even after the Williams fight...Lefty

I think that Williams and PAvlik should be a 50/50 split. Also I agree with you regarding Martinez not getting 50/50 with Pavlik. Martinez is coming of a loss, yes it was a close fight but still a loss.I dont think that matinez is as big a draw as Williams. PAvlik and PAvlik purse split shoulld be 60-40 in Pavliks favour.

Pavlik brings more fans, but if I'm not mistaken Williams does better ratings on HBO. If I'm wrong then maybe no on the 50/50, but otherwise it seems at least close to fair. Pavlik is the champ, but if it takes 50/50 to get it done then that's what it takes. It's not like Pavlik has been facing great competition. I'd rather he wasn't so comfortable putting butts in seats against no hopers if it meant that fights like Pavlik-Williams was easier to make.
