Right, I always felt they both have their own records. Both HOF careers, and went about it in different ways. Prime for prime as a fighter I rank Roy higher.. but then longevity you have Bernard ranked higher... they always have their own stats to one up each other. I always come to the conclusion they are about even. For every stat and record Bernard has, Roy usually has something to counter it. And for the biggest to me, Roy got knocked out twice... on the flipside, if you are comparing them to each other.. Roy has a win over Bernard. Seems to always even itself out.

It's ******.... if bernard wins... it means nothing cuz Roy hasnt beaten an elite fighter in 7 years.

If Roy wins, bernard is 45 god damn years old.

No but beating Genaro Hernandez in his 18th pro fight and taking tha title was a very big step up from Miguel Melo whom he fought two fights earlier....Angel Manfredy had a W over Arturo Gatti at 135lbs and as you look back his name is not going to stick out but at the time he was a contender and a very good Title Defense and test for a young Floyd who was now 18-0 and had a title as at 130...Lefty
