well...edgar..yes, it's true, Vargas didn't last 12 rds with Trinidad and DLH. But Vargas stood toe-to-toe with them and didn't run like Camacho. Styles make fights and Camacho had the style to last 12 rds...running!

It's called boxing not running. I guess Ali, Leonard, Mayweather, and all the other great's that fight in this style are runners as well. Plus Camacho was past his prime when he fought those guys; Vargas was still a game fighter.

Former junior middleweight champion Fernando "El Feroz" Vargas contacted BoxingScene.com to respond to comments made by Hector Camacho Sr. Some of you may recall last fall Hector Camacho Jr. called out Vargas and recently Camacho Sr. followed suit in issuing a challenge to Vargas. El Feroz is planning to begin training next month for a ring return scheduled to take place later in the year.
