    This is the same ****-head that purposely scheduled an event on the same day as a Mayweather fight saying he wasn't a threat, now after he got butt****ed he's changing his tune.

          It's the same negative **** that comes out of the mouth of every boxing pundit in the world!!!

          ****** promoters, to many champions, to many weight classes, and not enough big fights are some of the things I have heard Dana White say about boxing.

          How are any of these any diffrent from the normal list of complaints your typical boxing has about boxing.

            mayweather is the biggest attraction in boxing--Machida and Shogun are not the biggest attractions in MMA.

            but I don't know why Dana moves dates or puts up weak cards that are head-to-head with boxing. UFC does 15 ppv's a year, why would they worry about that 1 little ppv? If anything, Dana has the advantage of loading up that ppv card to pull ppl away from the boxing ppv. And if that doesn't work, than it's not a big loss. Kind of a ****** move by the UFC IMO.

              Mayweather did not go up against the Shogan machida fight. It was franklin vs Belfort which was a garbage bout that nobody really cared about.

              And the only reason that happened was because the Marquez Mayweather bout was moved to that date because Floyd got hurt and by that time it was to late to move the event.

              Stop acting like dana did it purpously because he didn't. He would of moved the date if he could of for *** sake.

                  its not the same. because the same boxing pundits also say positive things about the sport because they are actual fans of the sport

                  dana white does not. cant you see dana agenda when he says something that amounts to this;

                  dana says "boxing is dying sport and nobody watches it and quick side bar mma is awesome"

                  i repeat finding me one positive comment dana white has said about present day boxing?

                  dana white only mentions he is a boxing fan because he believes it gives him the right to rip on boxing because if any one ever makes the connection that he is a mma fighting league promoter and has a bias against boxing dana white will pull out his laminated card that reads "I am a Boxing Fan"

                  dont be so naive. you can still like mma and recognize dana white agenda with his comments in regard to boxing

                    The UFC made the right move because there are some fans that like both sports...

                    Now having said that, this has everything to do with Dana White and ZUFFA getting humbled. Sure some people involved in boxing said some negative things about MMA, but the vast majority just didn't care or know about it to even make comments. Instead, when the UFC broke out we had to endure every article and news piece talking about how the UFC is taking over and destroying boxing...every dam article that was introducing MMA to the world from 2005 up until recently (MMA is not the shinny new shocking sport anymore) had to mention that boxing was "dying" and MMA was taking its audience and all these news pieces had quotes from Dana White that went something like this:

                    "I'm a boxing guy and love it but now let me tell you why it sucks, dying and why its not worth your time to ever watch it again."

                    Sure White is a promoter and he is doing his best to make money and draw attention. But as a boxing fan it gets on your nerves that anything positive about the sport of boxing is turned into bull**** negative spin and at the same time all the nonsense that ZUFFA does is totally ignored by the spineless MMA media and the completely clueless mainstream media .

                    Like mentioned previously, Dana White is a gigantic douche. Serves him right for holding that fake press conferences and taking petty shots at a legend like JMM.
