UFC delays Montreal event to avoid Mayweather

Most Boxing fans(which dana is by the way) thought Mayweather vs Marquez was a **** match up to begin with so what is he doing other than stating the obvious.

And even if his card was strong enough to compete why would he do that? That would be ***ing ******?

Dana isn't about killing boxing he's about making money and selling his sport to MMA fans. Dana doesn't care about boxing fans who hate MMA so why is he gonna waste his time competing for your money.

If the Mayweather fight came to fruition because Berto-Mosley fell out due to money issues or something, then I could understand UFC being upset over having to postpone their date and blaming it on boxing's self-destructive nature.

But under the circumstances, I think they should just move their date and let things be.

Thats how i understood it. I love how Floyd is so willing to go head to head with the UFC to demolish it in PPV buys. The **** he talked about Rich Franklin going head to head with him was priceless.

Put it this way, The UFC card on Sept 19 would have done better if it hadn't gone against Floyd.

Ugh do you even know who the fighters were on that card because I do. Rich Franklin and Vitor Belfort is the MMA equivilent of Cory Spinks vs Verno phillips. The undercard was **** and the only other name on that card was Mirco Cro Cop who is MMA's equivelent of an Old Roy Jones Jr who doesn't know when to give up.


This was a terriable UFC card that would of done poorly regardless of Floyd fighting that night. Did some UFC fans who liked boxing opt for the Floyd Marquez fight instead? Yes I was one of them but most MMA fans are die hard MMA fans and hate boxing just like most diehard boxing fans only watch boxing and hate MMA so the dent that was made in the crappy UFC card PPV numbers was marginal at best. The card did poorly because it was a card full of has beens and nobodys.



It's ****** that you would think that hardcore MMA fans even give a *** or even know whats going on in boxing because they don't. Like most hardcore boxing fans MMA fans are ignorent meatheads who for some ****** reason think that they have to take sides when it comes to this really ****** MMA vs Boxing debate.
